Father, in the name of Jesus,

We come before You as Your Ekklesia and repent for every place where apathy has caused us to ignore what grieves Your heart, and where complacency has caused us to become comfortable with conditions You have called us to change.

Forgive us for tolerating breaches that should have been repaired, neglecting assignments You have entrusted to us, and accepting as normal what You have declared must be restored.

Forgive us where apathy has caused us to withdraw from our responsibilities, and where complacency has convinced us that someone else will address the challenges before us.

Forgive us for every time we have seen the broken walls and chosen comfort over responsibility, silence over engagement, or indifference over stewardship.

Today, we renounce the spirit of apathy that dulls discernment, weakens conviction, and silences action.

We renounce the spirit of complacency that settles for less than Your purpose, accepts compromise, and resists necessary change.

We declare:

  • Apathy will not ignore the breach.

  • Complacency will not tolerate the breach.

  • The Ekklesia will repair the breach.

As Nehemiah surveyed the walls of Jerusalem, give us eyes to see the places where foundations have been broken, gates have been burned, and covenant boundaries have been weakened within our families, churches, communities, states, and nation.

Awaken us from spiritual slumber.

Stir holy conviction within us.

Restore urgency where there has been delay.

Restore courage where there has been fear.

Restore vision where there has been weariness.

Father, we also repent for neglecting the stewardship of our citizenship and failing to engage in the responsibilities You have entrusted to us as believers.

Forgive us where apathy has caused us to disengage, where complacency has convinced us that our voice does not matter, and where passivity has allowed unrighteousness to advance without resistance.

We break agreement with the lie that our participation is insignificant.

We break agreement with the lie that disengagement is neutrality.

And, we decree that believers will no longer surrender their voice through indifference, fear, discouragement, or disillusionment.

Instead, we will pray.
We will discern.
We will engage.
We will steward every assignment and responsibility You place before us.

We declare that the days of passive observation are ending.

The days of faithful stewardship are beginning.

According to Isaiah 58:12, we shall be called:

“Repairers of the Breach, Restorers of Streets to Dwell In.”

We Decree:

  • Where there has been apathy, let passion arise.

  • Where there has been complacency, let vigilance arise.

  • Where there has been compromise, let righteousness arise.

  • Where there has been passivity, let responsibility arise.

  • Where there has been delay, let obedience arise.

We receive the mantle of Nehemiah in this hour and declare that:

  • We will identify the breaches.

  • We will rebuild the walls.

  • We will reinforce the gates.

  • We will establish what Heaven has ordained.

And we decree that what has been broken shall be restored, what has been weakened shall be strengthened, and what has been delayed shall move forward according to the purposes of God.

Father, we now ask that You dispatch Your angels on assignment concerning this decree. Let them go forth to strengthen the righteous, awaken the complacent, stir the apathetic, expose the breaches, and assist in the rebuilding of righteous foundations throughout Georgia and America.

We declare that this word will not return void, but will accomplish that for which it has been sent.  The God of Heaven will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build.

So let it be established in Heaven and manifested in the earth.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
